If you’re dealing with persistent skin issues like itching, redness, swelling, rashes, or hives, allergens could be the underlying cause. Many common irritants — from food and drink to environmental allergens — can trigger your immune system, leading to uncomfortable or even chronic skin reactions.

This test is designed to uncover sensitivities across a wide range of potential triggers, including:

  • Food & Drink Allergens that may cause eczema or hives.
  • Indoor Allergens like dust mites and pet dander that can irritate your skin.
  • Mold Allergens, which are known to exacerbate allergic skin reactions.
  • Tree, Grass & Weed Allergens that may cause flare-ups during seasonal changes.
  • Latex, a common but often overlooked allergen linked to contact dermatitis.
  • Total IgE Levels, providing an overall measure of your immune system’s reactivity.

By identifying the allergens affecting your skin health, you can take actionable steps to minimise exposure, reduce flare-ups, and regain confidence in your skin.

What's tested

Our Skin Health Allergy Test uses Immunoglobulin E (IgE) analysis to assess your immune system’s response to allergens that can impact your skin. IgE antibodies are key drivers of allergic reactions, and by measuring their levels in your blood, this test identifies sensitivities to a wide range of triggers, including food and drink allergens, mold, tree, grass, and weed pollen, latex, and indoor allergens like dust mites and pet dander.

Reactivity is evaluated by analysing allergen-specific IgE antibodies, with results presented in IU/mL. Each allergen is assigned a reactivity level, ranging from Class 0 (No Reactivity) to Class 6 (Severe Reactivity). The results are also color-coded, making it simple to identify high-priority allergens and understand your immune response at a glance.
