Food and non-food intolerances occur when your body reacts adversely to certain substances, triggering a range of reactions. Unlike allergies, intolerances can develop gradually over time due to factors such as diet, environment, and lifestyle choices.

FAQ
Our FAQs for Complete Food Intolerance TestAllergy involves IgE‑mediated immune responses and can be life-threatening; intolerance is dose‑dependent, digestive and generally non‑life-threatening and may involve other immune pathways.
Blood-based tests involve analysing a blood sample to measure specific biological markers. These tests are typically interpreted by healthcare professionals as part of a broader medical assessment.
Bioresonance services use a non-invasive hair sample and are categorised within complementary and alternative wellness approaches. They are designed to provide informational insights that may support personal wellbeing reflection.
Neither service should be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have health concerns, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Our tests are ideal for people who experience ongoing symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, headaches, skin issues, or digestive discomfort without a clear cause.
They’re also helpful if you suspect certain foods or environmental factors may be affecting your energy, mood, or overall wellness, but you can’t pinpoint which ones.
Testing provides personalised insights to guide smarter dietary and lifestyle choices.
No, our sensitivity tests are designed to be simple and non-invasive. Hair sample tests only require a few strands of hair, which can be gently plucked or trimmed close to the root. There’s no discomfort involved, and no needles or blood are required.
We only need a small sample — around 4 to 5 strands of hair, at least 4cm long. That’s about the thickness of a pencil lead, so you won’t notice a difference. The hair can come from your head or, if needed, another area of the body. Coloured or treated hair is fine.
Bioresonance intolerance tests Safe for children of any age, since only a small hair sample is required and the process is completely non-invasive.
Bioresonance intolerance tests Yes, you can take a bioresonance intolerance test during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The test is completely non-invasive and only requires a small hair sample. It poses no risk to you or your baby. However, it’s important to remember that results should be used as a guideline for dietary and lifestyle choices, not as a substitute for medical advice. Always seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified health provider before making significant changes to your diet while pregnant or if you have a medical condition or with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition and/or medical symptoms.
Allergy (IgE) tests Certain medications, such as antihistamines, steroids, or immunosuppressants, may impact results. Speak with your doctor before testing. Intolerance (IgG) tests Most medications do not affect results, though long-term immunosuppressive therapy or steroids may reduce antibody levels. Bioresonance intolerance tests Medications generally do not affect the analysis, since the test measures hair sample frequencies.
Once we’ve received your sample at our ISO accredited laboratory, you’ll receive your test results via email in just 3-5 working days.

Bioresonance Sensitivity Tests (Hair Analysis) With bioresonance tests, there is no physical kit sent out. Instead, you’ll receive a unique digital activation code along with our lab address. Simply place a small hair sample into a grip-seal bag, pop it into a standard envelope, and mail it back using your preferred postal service. 📦 Eco-Friendly: Our bioresonance process is faster, saves packaging, reduces courier deliveries, and lowers our carbon footprint — making it the most sustainable way to test. As soon as your sample arrives at our lab, we’ll confirm receipt by email and SMS so you know it’s safely in processing.
Please be aware that different methods of post can take different lead times to arrive.
Bioresonance Sensitivity Test (Hair analysis) Bioresonance testing looks at the energetic frequencies of a hair sample to identify potential imbalances. It does not measure immune antibodies or diagnose allergies. For this reason, a confirmed allergy may not appear in your bioresonance results. You should still avoid allergens identified by a medical professional, regardless of your sensitivity results.
Hair food sensitivity tests, also known as bioresonance intolerance tests, are designed as a wellness screening tool rather than a medical diagnostic. They analyse energetic responses from a small hair sample to highlight potential imbalances with foods, drinks, and environmental items. At Check My Body Health, our Food Intolerance Test is processed in an ISO 9001 accredited laboratory, ensuring consistent quality and reliability. While bioresonance is not medically approved or used in NHS diagnostics, many people find the results provide valuable, affordable insights into possible triggers for symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, and skin irritation. In summary: hair food intolerance tests are not a substitute for medical testing, but when carried out in a quality-assured lab, they can offer a cost-effective and trustworthy way to explore potential intolerances and guide lifestyle changes.
